Tjeerd Ritmeester

Tjeerd Ritmeester holds a Master’s degree in International Relations and a Master’s degree in History. As an expert in international relations, he focuses primarily on economic security, transatlantic relations, emerging markets, and the Middle East. He currently works as a consultant, advising European governments on their relationships with emerging markets from both geopolitical and economic perspectives. Previously, he worked with organizations such as Clingendael, the European Parliament, and the Dutch Embassy in Tel Aviv. Tjeerd has lived in the region in Israel, Egypt, and Abu Dhabi (UAE).
